C2000™ Diagnostics without JTAG

CodeSkin develops and distributes diagnostics and development tools for the Texas Instruments C2000™ MCU family.

Instead of using JTAG as the communication interface, all CodeSkin products are based on RS-232 and CAN (Controller Area Network) and are, therefore, suited for deployment in the field where the JTAG port is typically not accessible or impractical.

• C2ooo Programmer - Flash programming with smart sector selection, 32-bit CRC generation and hex-file encryption
• C2ooo Console - Real-time variable viewing, plotting and editing
• Eclipse plugins (error parser)

Custom Bootloaders

CodeSkin can tailor the C2oooProgrammer bootloaders for customer specific hardware and communication protocols (such as RS-485 and CAN). The bootloaders can also be configured to service an external watchdog while the chip is being programmed. Customized bootloaders are licensed as source-code.
