Industrial Grade Diagnostics Tools

CodeSkin develops and distributes diagnostics and development tools for Texas Instruments MCUs, such as the C2000™ and MSP430™ series.

Rather than solely relying on JTAG as the communication interface, all CodeSkin products also support RS-232/485, TCP/IP, USB and CAN (Controller Area Network). They are, therefore, well suited for deployment in the field where the JTAG port is typically not accessible or impractical.

Applications

Our products are specifically designed to support embedded applications over their entire lifecycle. Starting in the lab, C2Prog and C2Console facilitate the development and testing process. As the product matures, the same tools can be applied on the manufacturing floor. Once the product is in the field, C2Prog allows easy and secure firmware upgrades while C2Console continues to facilitate product configuration and troubleshooting.

Integration

CodeSkin products can be fully integrated into customer specific tools, including LabView applications. By means of runtime dynamic linking, C2Prog and C2Console can provide their functionality to your applications completely “behind the scenes”.

Custom Bootloaders

CodeSkin can tailor the C2Prog bootloaders for customer specific hardware and communication protocols (such as RS-485, TCP/IP, USB and CAN). The bootloaders can also be configured to service an external watchdog while the chip is being programmed. Customized bootloaders are licensed as source-code.
